Hello,
a bit about me:
I am Carley Catarina Cruz. I grew up in Tampa, FL and have lived the latter half of my life in Indiana. After graduating from Avon High School in 2011, I continued my education at Indiana University (IU). I graduated from IU a year early as a political science major so I could pursue my dreams of becoming a student affairs professional. I chose to continue my education at IU as a master's student in the higher education and student affairs degree program. As a graduate student, I hold an assistantship in the Office of Student Ethics as a hearing officer. I also held a practicum position in the IU Groups Scholars Program Office tasked with developing a first year seminar. In addition, I advised a student group on campus called the Latino Enhancement Cooperative and have interned as a graduate supervisor for the Groups Scholars Program residential experience. I have also been able to teach two academic courses while at IU. As a Latina student affairs professional I want to work closely with and support other student of color by working in various functional areas like residential life, admissions, and multicultural affairs. Learn more about me by exploring my site.
Best,
Carley C. Cruz
